The Enemy to celebrate album with homecoming show
Getty ImagesIndie band The Enemy will headline a homecoming show in Coventry next year to celebrate two decades since the release of their debut album.
The band will mark the 20th anniversary of We'll Live and Die in these Towns at the indoor arena at the Coventry Building Society Arena on 20 March 2027.
Formed in Coventry in 2006, the band said it would be their biggest headline show since they sold out the same 10,000-capacity venue in 2008.
Tickets for the show go on sale from 10:00 BST on Friday.
"Last time we headlined that space it was a great night but this time with the added buzz around Coventry City FC, we expect the atmosphere will be even more emotionally charged," said vocalist and guitarist, Tom Clarke.
"It has all the ingredients for an unforgettable, once in lifetime event."
Their album went to number one after it was released and was certified platinum, with hits such as "Away From Here" and "Had Enough".
The announcement comes as the band will perform at Coventry City's "We Are Back" celebration of their return to the Premier League at 17:00 today in the War Memorial Park.
