Man in court over £100,000 cannabis cultivation

A man has appeared in court after drugs worth a six-figure sum were recovered in Aberdeen.

Police said officers were called to an address on the city's North Anderson Drive on Friday and a cannabis cultivation was found.

Police Scotland said the recovery had an estimated street value of up to £100,000.

Linh Nguyen, 34, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, where he made no plea and was remanded in custody.
