Police appeal after motorcyclist dies in crash

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died in a crash near Appledore.

The red and purple motorbike was travelling north with a group of riders on Military Road at 15:30 GMT on Sunday when it left the carriageway and struck a hedgerow.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, was confirmed dead at the scene.

Officers are investigating the crash and are urging anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation unit.
