Five injured after bus crashes into 12 parked cars

Five people have been injured after a bus crashed into 12 parked cars outside a railway station in East Sussex.

A woman was taken to hospital, and four other people were treated at the scene after the crash at Portslade Railway Station in Station Road at 14:00 BST on Tuesday, Sussex Police said.

The bus is believed to have been involved in a crash with one car before hitting other parked cars in the station's car park, police added.

All five people injured were other motorists.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to contact the force.

Four fire engines were also called to the scene to help make the area safe, an East Sussex Fire & Rescue spokesperson said.
