Three women, aged 24, 26 and 30, and a 49-year-old man had been arrested this week on suspicion of assisting offenders and had all been bailed pending further inquiries, a South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said.
In total, 15 arrests had been made in connection with the incident and investigations were continuing, they added.
Previously, three men, aged 18, 21 and 35, were arrested on suspicion of murder, and a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder, the force spokesperson said.
Meanwhile, a 26-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man had also previously been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
All had since been released on bail.
Four other men, aged between 22 and 31, and a 31-year-old woman who were all arrested earlier on suspicion of murder had since been released with no further action taken, according to the police spokesperson.
Det Ch Insp Andy Knowles said the force would "continue to seek answers and justice for Kassim's loved ones".
"Our thoughts remain with them during this extremely difficult time," he said.
