Man, 79, charged over fatal crash outside supermarket

A 79-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal crash in a supermarket car park in Edinburgh.

Bill Hepburn, 66, was struck by a car outside Tesco Extra on Meadow Place Road, Corstorphine, on 18 February. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Scotland said the man would be reported to the procurator fiscal in due course.

There were no other reported injuries in the incident.
