Motorbike rider sentenced after woman injured in crash
GoogleA man who left a woman seriously injured after he crashed into her on an electric motorbike has been given a suspended jail sentence.
O'Shea Gordon-Lucas, 23, of Preston, Lancashire, was riding a Sur-Ron Light Bee at about 18:00 GMT on 3 November 2025 in Elgar Road, Reading.
Court papers state the woman, in her 50s, was left with PTSD and bleeding on the brain. Her skull, right eye socket and right wrist were fractured.
Gordon-Lucas, who admitted causing serious injury by careless or inconsiderate driving, was given a 36-week jail sentence, suspended for 24 months.
Appearing at Reading Magistrates' Court on Monday, he was also banned from driving for 18 months and told he must do 250 hours of unpaid work.
