Man in 60s dies following tractor crash

A man in his 60s has died after the tractor he was driving crashed in County Leitrim in the Republic of Ireland.

The single-vehicle collision happened on the L3355 near Mullaghycullen, Drumcong, shortly before 23:00 local time on Sunday.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardaí (Irish police) said the road remains closed and the scene will be examined by its forensic collision investigators. Diversions are in place.

Anyone who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage, has been asked to contact gardaí.
