Person suffers serious injuries in M5 crash
Traffic EnglandA person has sustained life-changing injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on the M5, police have said.
The collision involved four vehicles, and one person has been taken to hospital, Avon and Somerset Police confirmed.
Both carriageways were closed between Junction 22 (for Burnham-on-Sea) and Junction 23 (for Bridgwater), but have now reopened.
Traffic monitoring website Inrix said there are still long delays in the area, with congestion extending to around Bridgwater town centre.
