A 25-year-old woman has been arrested following a stabbing in Kidderminster

A man has been seriously injured and a woman has been arrested following a "targeted" stabbing in Worcestershire.

The attack happened at Woodbury Road in Kidderminster on Friday morning, with the man, in his 20s, said to be in a stable condition.

The 25-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in custody.

Det Insp Dave Knight, of West Mercia Police, reassured residents by confirming the stabbing was not connected to the nearby primary school and had not taken place on school premises.
