An outdoor paddling pool in Warwick has finally opened to the public after being closed for two years for repairs.

The pool, at St Nicholas Park, opened at 10:00 and will shut at 18:00 BST, Warwick District Council said.

The facilities, along with the pool at Victoria Park in Leamington Spa, were shut in 2024, with original plans for them to reopen in May 2025 pushed back.

The council asked people to wear pool shoes if they have them, with a maximum capacity of 70 allowed in the water at a time.

An update on Victoria Park's reopening plans will be provided later on this week, added the council.
