Arson arrests after 'deliberate' caravan fire
BBCTwo people have been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life after a fire involving three caravans.
Police were called to Beckery New Road in Glastonbury, Somerset, at about 20:15 BST on Saturday.
The fire spread from the vehicles to a Tesco supermarket, causing damage to the store and leading to the shop being evacuated. Firefighters confirmed no one was injured.
On Tuesday, Avon and Somerset Police said a man in his 40s and a woman in her 20s had been arrested on suspicion of arson, arson with intent to endanger life and assault of an emergency worker. They were then released on conditional bail, the force said.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said the caravans were gutted by the fire, with damage also caused to about 10% of the exterior of the Tesco supermarket.
The service said the blaze was brought under control by 22:40 and the scene was left in the hands of Tesco staff and Avon and Somerset Police.
The force said it was continuing its investigation and urged anyone with information to contact police.
