Wells Road and Callington Road have reopened after a crash

A major road has reopened following a crash involving two vehicles.

The collision happened at about 04:00 GMT on the A37 Wells Road at its junction with Airport Road and Wootton Park in south Bristol.

Wells Road and the A4174 Callington Road were closed in both directions for most of the day while emergency services were at the scene, but they have since reopened.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to contact police.
