Woman critically injured in e-bike hit-and-run

A woman has been struck and critically injured by an e-bike that then left the scene, with police still searching for the rider.

It happened at about 16:00 BST on Monday on Stanley Grove, in Longsight, Manchester.

Police called to the scene found the woman, in her 30s, badly injured and she was taken to hospital.

No arrests have yet been made and police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information or relevant CCTV, dashcam, or phone footage to come forward.
