Long delays after car fire partially shuts M25

Traffic has been held on the M25 in Hertfordshire after a vehicle fire.

Two lanes were closed on the M25 anticlockwise between junction 25 for Enfield and junction 24 for Potters Bar at about 07:00 BST, according to traffic system Inrix.

There were delays of at least 30 minutes and six miles of congestion on approach, National Highways said.

The fire service has been at the scene.
