A charity football tournament has helped to raise £5,000 for local NHS services in Surrey.

The Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust said colleagues, suppliers and partners all participated, raising funds for the trust's charity.

Funds will be used for people using the mental health, learning disability, neurodevelopmental and drug and alcohol services.

It said following the success of the first event, it would explore the possibility of more tournaments and further accessible fundraising events.

The final was decided on penalties, with Kendra Massive triumphing over CBRE.

The trust's team, made up of people from different roles and services, came in fourth place.

Olalekan Johnson, associate director of inpatient services and a member of the trust team, said: "I truly enjoyed my time and it was absolutely fantastic to meet others in a different setting.

"I will definitely be interested and looking forward to next year."
