A former teacher at a private school in Bristol has pleaded not guilty to indecent assault against five boys in the 1980s and 1990s.

David Wright, of Palmdale Close in Longwell Green, South Gloucestershire, is accused of 11 offences relating to when he was a teacher, boarding master and later a non-teaching employee at Queen Elizabeth's Hospital independent school.

He appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Thursday where he denied all 11 offences.

Wright, 79, will next appear at Bristol Crown Court on 29 June. He was granted unconditional bail.
