M1 northbound reopens after multi-vehicle crash
National HighwaysThe M1 has fully reopened following a crash involving multiple vehicles.
In a post on social media at 12:40 BST on Friday, National Highways said the northbound carriageway was closed between junction 23 for Shepshed and junction 23A.
The road reopened just before 13:00, the traffic monitoring authority said in an update.
There were delays of 45 minutes and five miles of congestion on the approach.
