Springtime in the north-east of England and Cumbria has been quite the mixed bag, when it comes to the weather.

One minute its sunshine and balmy temperatures, the next there are downpours and chilly spells.

Our Weather Watchers have been out capturing the topsy-turvey scenes this week.
