Police chief's misconduct hearing postponed
BBCA hearing into alleged gross misconduct by a chief constable has been postponed until at least the end of the year.
Rod Hansen was suspended from his role as head of Gloucestershire Constabulary in October 2024 following allegations relating to a data breach.
A misconduct hearing had been scheduled to begin this week chaired by His Majesty's inspector of constabulary, Roy Wilsher, but it was postponed for legal reasons.
The panel is now considering fresh dates for the hearing from December onwards, according to the office of the police and crime commissioner for Gloucestershire, Chris Nelson.
