Trial date set for retirement home murder-accused
BBCA trial date has been set for a woman accused of murdering a 77-year-old man at a supported-living retirement home.
Harry Heslop died at Cedar House on Foxwood Drive, Stockton, at approximately 02:45 BST on 21 July, Cleveland Police previously said.
Appearing at Teesside Crown Court on Monday, Rebecca Hackett, 41, from Stockton, was not asked to enter any plea to charges of murder and possession of a bladed article.
Hackett will next appear at court for a plea hearing on 24 September. She was remanded into custody, with a trial listed to begin on 11 January 2027.
