A cyclist who was seriously injured in a crash has died in hospital, police say.

The crash - which only involved the electrically assisted pedal cycle the man was riding - happened on Tickshill in Coaley, near to Twyning Ash, on Saturday 23 May at about 08:50 BST.

The man, aged in his 70s, was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol following the collision but has since died from his injuries.

Gloucestershire Constabulary said the man's family was being supported by specially trained officers, and asked anyone with information, CCTV or relevant dashcam footage to get in touch.
