Attempted murder arrest after double stabbing
James FlanaganA man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a double stabbing in a village in Leicestershire.
Police were called to Station Road, in Quorn, just after 18:15 BST on Thursday after the report two men in their 20s had been stabbed.
One of the men, who was found at the scene, suffered injuries to his hand and stomach while a second man, who was later located by officers, suffered a stab wound to his side of his body.
A 23-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder while two men, 23 and 24, and a 27-year-old woman, have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Detectives said the 24-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender had been bailed, while the other three suspects remained in custody.
The man who was treated at the scene has since been released from hospital, the force added.
