Positive and more light-hearted stories have been making the news over the last week

With so many serious stories making the headlines, the news can sometimes feel overwhelming — but there are still uplifting moments to be found in the West Midlands, and we want to celebrate and share them.

This week we spotted a nine-year-old with his sights set on becoming a BMX champion, a family of happy and healthy beavers and a craft shop owner donating his store to Johnny Vegas for his antique TV series.
