Cyclist seriously injured in hit and run
GoogleA cyclist has been left with potentially life-changing injuries after a hit-and-run crash.
The man in his 50s was knocked from his bike at around 09:35 GMT on the B4508 between Watchfield and Highworth, Wiltshire, on Saturday.
Police said it was believed the driver of the car involved in the crash did not stop at the scene.
The cyclist is being treated for fractures to his neck and back which, while not life-threatening, are potentially life-changing, police said.
Wiltshire Police said they wanted to trace the driver of a white car, possibly a Toyota Aygo, which was seen nearby who might be able to help the investigation.
Anyone else who saw the incident or has dashcam footage has also been asked to contact police.
