Evening road repairs at three busy junctions
GoogleMotorists have been warned of possible disruption as road repairs are carried out at three busy junctions on consecutive evenings.
The Department of Infrastructure said work would be undertaken after 18:00 BST in Marown, Braddan and Douglas, with temporary traffic lights in operation at each junction while the repairs are carried out.
The department said the works were taking place in the evenings to "reduce the likelihood of congestion", but nonetheless urged drivers to consider using alternative routes.
In each case, the repairs are expected to be completed over the course of a single evening, however any prompt conclusion of the work would depend on the weather, the department added.
Junctions impacted by roadworks
- Tuesday - carriageway repairs in the centre of the road at Glen Darragh traffic lights, in Marown
- Wednesday - repairs to a utility lid in the Douglas-bound lane, opposite Braddan Old Church, at Braddan Bridge
- Thursday - carriageway repairs near the edge of Governors Roundabout, in Douglas
