The Red Devils parachute display team will skydive over Douglas

The Red Devils will perform a free parachute display over Douglas Bay tomorrow, despite the Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT competition having been cancelled.

The elite Army display is planning to jump from up to 10,000ft (3048m) on Thursday 27 August.

Parachutists will land on Douglas Beach, opposite the Villa Marina, from 19:30.

The Red Devils Army Parachute Display Team is made up of serving soldiers from the Parachute Regiment.

Established in 1964, it is the British Army's official parachute display team and has been entertaining crowds around the world for more than 60 years.

The event is free to attend.

It will go ahead as long is there is not high wind, heavy rainfall or low visibility.
