Two people were taken to hospital after a four-vehicle crash on the main A90 road in Aberdeenshire.

The collision happened north of Ellon at about 16:40 on Wednesday.

Several ambulances were called to the scene, and there were rush-hour delays in both directions.

Police Scotland said: "Two men were taken to hospital. Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
