Lamborghini and limousine seized by police

A Lamborghini and limousine have been seized by police for not having insurance.

Thames Valley Police said during a day of action in High Wycombe on Wednesday it took the luxury vehicles away as part of a crackdown on uninsured drivers.

In total 15 vehicles were seized and "numerous drivers dealt with for other offences".

The force said: "Leasing a Lambo to make an entrance at your mate's wedding: cool. Not bothering to insure it: not so cool."

Officers returned to the area on Thursday and said: "What will we find next?"

The Italian supercar can cost about £450,000 brand new, with second-hand models starting from £190,000.

Limousines also can cost hundreds of thousands of pounds.
