Motorbike rider in serious condition after crash with car near Crianlarich

A motorbike rider is in serious condition in hospital after being involved in a crash with a car on the A82 near the Falls of Falloch.

Emergency services were called to the collision involving a green Mini Cooper and a black Yamaha Tracer near Crianlarich at about 13:25 on Tuesday.

The male rider of the Yamaha was seriously injured, and two passengers in the Mini Cooper were also taken to hospital before being discharged.

The 47-year-old male driver of the Mini Cooper was arrested and charged in connection with a road traffic offence.

He was released on an undertaking to appear at court at a later date.

The road was closed and reopened at about 22:30 on Tuesday.

Insp David Marr said: "Inquiries remain ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us.

"We'd also ask anyone with dash-cam footage which could assist our inquiries to come forward."
