A man has been arrested after a woman was found dead in a street in Bradford.

West Yorkshire Police said officers were called to Neville Road, Bradford, at 17:35 BST on Wednesday and believe the woman had been involved in a collision.

A 55-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and was bailed pending further inquiries, a police spokesperson said.

Inquiries were in "early stages" and were ongoing, they added.
