Parts of the A1 and A11 in Cambridgeshire were closed due to separate collisions.

The A11 in Cambridgeshire was closed in both directions after a vehicle crashed through the central reservation at about 03:00 BST, National Highways said.

It was shut between the A1301 at Stump Cross and the A1307 at Babraham.

Three lanes were also closed on the A1 northbound between junction 15 at Toll Bar Way near Sawtry and junction 16.

Cambridgeshire Police and National Highways teams have been at the scene on the A11.

Delays were building in the area, and traffic has been diverted through local routes, the roads agency said.

Drivers have also been warned of queues on the A1.
