Man dies after being hit by bus at Dublin Airport

A man in his 60s has died after he was hit by a bus at Dublin Airport.

It happened shortly after midnight on Thursday on the Corballis Road which is within the airport grounds.

Gardaí (Irish police) said they attended along with emergency services and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A partial road closure is in place at the main access route into Dublin Airport with diversions in place and police have advised motorists to allow extra time for any journeys.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
