Three homes were affected by the blaze, the fire service said

Fire crews have battled a blaze involving three static caravans in Essex.

Essex County Fire and Rescue Service received reports of a fire affecting three homes in Creeksea Lane, Burnham, on Monday night.

Pictures from the scene showed at least one of the homes had been destroyed.

Crews from Burnham, Maldon and South Woodham Ferrers attended.

The fire was extinguished by 21:19 BST, the fire service said.
