Investigation under way after sex assault on two youths

Police are investigating a report that two juveniles were sexually assaulted in Londonderry on Monday afternoon.

The incident is alleged to have taken place in Cedar Street in the city.

Police have described the suspect as a white male of slim build, with short dark hair and dental braces.

"He was dressed in a distinctive green Superdry hoodie with front logo, dark trousers and dark coloured shoes," they added in a statement.

The police have appealed for information.
