Tribute to 'wonderful and generous' man hit by multiple vehicles in fatal crash
Dyfed Powys PoliceThe family of a man who died after being hit by multiple vehicles, including a police car, have described him as a "wonderful and generous person with a good heart".
Gerard Trojanowski, 44, died following the crash on the A40 in Carmarthen on 28 July.
As Dyfed-Powys Police officers reached the scene, reports indicated several vehicles had crashed with the pedestrian, including a marked police car that was being used for a routine patrol.
The force described it as a "six-vehicle" crash.
Trojanowski's family described him as a "loving husband and father".
They asked for privacy, adding Trojanowski would "always be in our memories".

No arrests were made after the incident.
The force referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
