Images released of men sought after assault
Kent PolicePolice have released CCTV images of three men they say they want to speak to following a serious assault in Kent.
Officers were called to the incident on Maidstone High Street, between the junctions with Mill Street and Fairmeadow, at about 04:40 BST on Sunday.
A man in his 30s was treated for "injuries consistent with stab wounds" and taken to hospital, where his condition is said to be "serious but stable", while another man in his 20s was treated for a cut to his arm, a Kent Police spokesperson said.
An investigation into what happened is under way, but it is thought the pair were injured during an altercation with a group of people, police said.
The force's spokesperson says that "while the CCTV images are blurred, it is hoped somebody will recognise the three men featured and contact the appeal line".
Kent Police is also urging anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to them, along with those who may have dashcam or other footage, to get in touch.
