Car crashes into Starbucks at M40 services
Bedworth Fire StationTwo people have been rescued after a car crashed into the front of a Starbucks cafe.
The incident happened at about 10:00 BST on Tuesday at Warwick Services, near junction 12 on the M40 northbound in Warwickshire.
"Two crews attended and worked with the ambulance service to release two individuals who were trapped," said the fire service.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said a driver and passenger were assessed but found to be uninjured, and did not require hospital treatment. No-one else was injured in the incident, the service added.
A spokesperson from Welcome Break, which operates the motorway services, confirmed no employees or customers were injured and the Starbucks Drive Thru had since reopened.
