Six crews tackle building fire as smoke seen for miles
Jane DoddsFire crews are tackling a blaze at a building in Wolverhampton that has sent a huge plume of smoke billowing into the sky.
Six crews were dispatched to Paget Road at about 15:12 BST after reports of heavy smoke in the area, according to West Midlands Fire Service. The service advised the public to avoid the area where possible.
West Midlands Police said officers were also at the scene after receiving reports of a fire at a property on the road.
Images shared on social media showed smoke rising high above the city, with one person saying it could be seen from as far away as Stourbridge.
