Police treating house fire as arson
BBCPolice say they are treating an early-morning fire at a house in Bangor as arson with intent to endanger life.
Emergency services were called to home in the Balloo Walk area of the city at around 05.30 BST and the fire was then extinguished.
Extensive damage was caused to rooms inside the property, but no one was inside the house at the time and there were no reports of injuries.
Det Sgt Crossett said:"We are treating this report as arson with intent to endanger life, and enquiries are ongoing today to determine a motive and who was involved."
