Firefighters have rescued one person from a fire at a house in east Belfast.

Police are treating the blaze on the Beersbridge Road as arson with intent.

It was reported at about 23:45 BST on Tuesday.

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) said the fire had now been extinguished.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
