Three people, including two police officers, were taken to hospital after a collision between the officers' marked car and another car.

Dorset Police said the officers were responding to an emergency incident when the crash happened in Lyndhurst Road in Hinton at about 08:15 BST on Saturday.

The driver of a Nissan Juke sustained injuries not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing, while the officers were taken to hospital as a precaution, said the force.

A police spokesperson said the vehicles were recovered and the road was reopened shortly after 12:00.
