Attempted murder charge after man shot in head

Two men have been charged with attempted murder after a man was shot in the head.

The 46-year-old man was attacked while sitting in his car in Daisy Street, Bradford, on 15 September 2025.

West Yorkshire Police said he had driven to hospital after the incident, adding he was "extremely lucky" not to have been more severely injured.

Umar Hussain, 30, of Powell Avenue, and Aiden Khaliq, 24, of Daisy Street, both in Bradford, have been charged with attempted murder and were due to appear at Bradford Magistrates' Court earlier.

Khaliq has also been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
