Man charged with 2020 murder of one-month-old baby

A man has been charged with the murder of a one-month-old baby boy in Leeds six years ago.

The baby died in hospital on 10 July 2020 after being admitted a week earlier from an address in Lincombe Drive, Gledhow.

Niall Worsfold, 29, of Farrow Road in Armley, is charged with murder and one count of child cruelty, West Yorkshire Police said. He has been remanded to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

A 25-year-old woman who was arrested as part of the investigation has since been released with no further action, the force added.
