Floral feast for the senses as weather cools
MackemSeanThe heatwave has faded for now, with the weather up here returning to its more usual mix of occasional sunshine and showers.
The silver lining is that the sun and the rain has created a flourishing environment for flowers, bringing a riot of colour to north-east England and Cumbria.
As always, our Weather Watchers have been out in force, this time capturing the blooms.
