Police are investigating after the body of a woman was found in a pond at a park.

Lancashire Police said officers were called to reports of a body at Lowther Gardens on Lowther Terrace, Lytham at 09:00 BST.

The force said inquiries are continuing to establish her identity.

Her death is currently being treated as "unexplained".
