Attempted murder charge after man stabbed

A man has been charged with attempted murder after another man was stabbed in Mansfield.

Nottinghamshire Police said the assault happened in Littleworth at about 21:28 BST on Monday.

The victim suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of a single stab wound, the force added.

Radoslaw Gan, 34, of Broxtowe Drive, Mansfield, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates' Court charged with attempted murder, possessing a knife in public and possessing cannabis on Wednesday.

Police said he was remanded in custody and will appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 12 August.
