Part of the A38 in Derbyshire has been closed following a multi-vehicle crash.

National Highways said on Saturday afternoon the northbound carriageway of the A38 was closed between its junctions with the A50 and the A516.

Derbyshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service were in attendance, it added.

In a post on social media, National Highways said one mile of congestion had built up.
