Brighton & Hove Albion has invited fans to its annual end-of-season players' awards ceremony at The Amex.

The event on Tuesday will see the best players from the club's men's and women's teams honoured along with supporters and the beneficiaries of the club's charity.

Votes from season ticket holders will carry 80% of the total vote for the Player of the Season awards, with the other 20% coming from the club's followers on social media.

The ceremony will also celebrate 125 years of the club, with those attending the ticketed event being invited to a pre-show screening of the side's official documentary Stand or Fall.

Over the side's 125-year history, fans have seen the club grow from being without a ground and playing 70 miles (115km) away in Gillingham in 1997, to reaching the Premier League and qualifying for Europe in 2023.

Brighton's men's team have had a strong season with European qualification still on the cards for Fabian Hurzeler's side, while the women's team have also had a year to remember as they prepare for the FA Cup final against Manchester City at Wembley on 31 May.
