Murder investigation launched after man stabbed

A murder investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed to death in Birmingham.

West Midlands Police were called to Walford Road in Sparkbrook at about 18:20 BST on Thursday to reports that a man believed to be in his 40s, had been stabbed.

The force said he was pronounced dead at about 19:00 BST.

The force is encouraging anyone with information or video footage from the area at the time to get in touch.
